1500 C+ Aluminosilicate Fire Bricks

Finally found somewhere that sells/posts these things !

£4 + VAT.

http://www.vitcas.com/

They take paypal and post anywhere, although the shipping outside the UK makes them pricey. (so i ordered two)

The first Rain is forecast for tomorrow, along with a 14 C temperature drop, so, with any joy, ShedWorld can go back online.

deltaH's Pt pile might finally get zapped in an arc furnace !

Mood: " I think we are all going to die. I think that love is an illusion. We are flawed, my darling".

Check your link? It may have melted...

Rapopart’s Rules for critical commentary:

1. Attempt to re-express your target’s position so clearly, vividly and fairly that your target says: “Thanks, I wish I’d thought of putting it that way.”
2. List any points of agreement (especially if they are not matters of general or widespread agreement).
3. Mention anything you have learned from your target.
4. Only then are you permitted to say so much as a word of rebuttal or criticism.

Anatol Rapoport was a Russian-born American mathematical psychologist (1911-2007).

Huh ?

That link works OK for me.

Might end up melting the block, seeing as it's rated to just 1530 C and we're looking for 2000 C +

That's why it's always good to order more than you need, and always wear bulletproof rubber underpants.
