Image sizes on the board - something's wrong

Something has definately changed in the last month or so with the way the forum is handling images (those uploaded to the board, not linked to external sites). Before an image of up to the board maximums (whatever they are), would usually appear in a "thumbnail-ish" size of like 300x200 and it would display the file size and resolution for the full size image within the thumbnail. It seemed this was the default

I usually resize to under 1920 x 1080 (screen resolution for many newer monitors) but usually 1200 x 1000 or so. Somehow the images, even though they are smaller, are showing up extra large with diminished resolution (digital zoom) for some reason. In 3 of my posts there was no way to get them even if I made a 800x600 image.

I know this is happening to other users as I have seen them mention this in posts as well (Aga's made comments as well).

Also, other times, when a image file is attached and the preview is clecked, no images are showing up. I've had to delete the thread and start over at times to get any images working (happened 2x).

IDK how many others have experienced this but I'd bet many have seen the results.

Recently i resized all images in my soon-to-all-be-deleted posts (depending on the vote) down to 400 x (whatever the software said) simply to avoid blowing the formatting of the forum.

600px usually worked ok, but not so good for multiple images.

Shame, as the camera is pretty good, with really clear images.

Image-click-new-window-not-working is definitely since Polverone changed servers.

Thanks for the problem report. I probably won't be able to investigate/fix until the weekend.
