InCl3 as FC reagent - towards allylbenzene?
I have a vast amount of InCl3, and would like to try a FC towards allylbenzene. I am in the process of a literature search, so far I found plenty on
substituted arenes [Tetrahedron Letters 48 (2007) 7085–7087] but am having trouble finding ones with say allyl bromide and benzene. I am wondering
if someone from the board can point me towards using InCl3 to produce allylbenzene?

Do you see any immediate reasons why you wouldn't just go ahead and try substituting the InCl3 in stoichiometric amounts relative to the catalysts
used in the well-known AlCl3 or FeCl3 catalyzed reactions.
Also, if this works it will result in overalkylation. You will want to make the grignard and go from there.
EDIT: Seriously, I found several examples of its use in FC alkylations in the first page of a Google search. A result from beilstein, in particular,
caught my attention.
