Once read that it is very unwise to direct the output of a Nitrogen TEA laser (reasonably easy to build at home) into the sky during a tunder storm.
The ionised channel will direct lightening to you.
It would make a great assination tool. Had nothing to do with me officer, twas a lightning strike.
