As a Greek Orthodox I can say with certainty that the Serbian Orthodox Church is closer to Greek Orthodoxy than Russian Orthodoxy. I'm pretty much a
Buddhist now but I was baptized in the Greek Church and practiced in it for some time. We had some joint services with the Serbians but never with
the Russians.
This is way off topic. The article does take a few cheap shots and shows a certain bias on the part of the author but Tesla does have 700+ patents
and did invent wireless power transmission. Today we'd think of the EM polution involved and probably reject it on that basis. While keeping cell
phones and community-wide wireless computer networks ...
Tesla was supposedly involved in a US Navy effort to nullify radar by putting so much charge on the ships that the signals were completely absorbed.
This is aprt of the so-called Phildelphia Story legend in which it is claimed he made a ship dissapear and did some Star-Trek stuff to the crew as
well. A friend and I built a Tesla Coil that we kicked off with a Ford coil. That fucker put out 12 foot sparks.

Now Feynman was a great man! One of the greatest because he was such an outstanding teacher making science palpable and exciting to so many.

Now that, I find very hard to believe....!
I've seen plenty of Tesla coil designs, powered by automotive ignition coils, and I can assure you they don't produce 12 foot sparks...... 12cm
perhaps!

I'm sure one could be designed to make 12 foot sparks... WAY more than 12cm can be produced easily.
"There must be no barriers to freedom of inquiry ... There is no place for dogma in science. The scientist is free, and must be free to ask any
question, to doubt any assertion, to seek for any evidence, to correct any errors. ... We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it and
that the only way to detect it is to be free to inquire. And we know that as long as men are free to ask what they must, free to say what they think,
free to think what they will, freedom can never be lost, and science can never regress." -J. Robert Oppenheimer

This deserves special mention , it preceded Henry Ford's contribution by 20 years and was twice as fast.

Stanley Steamers are the most famous steam cars, and they were fast too

Seems like I recall somebody made a conversion burner that used a water suspension of powdered coal as a substitute for fuel oil, and the burner
would bring up a full head of steam in under one minute from a cold start.

Don't know about the coal slurry , but the one minute flash boiler was
a feature of the steam car built by Bill Lear of Learjet plane fame and
also originator of the 8 track tape player for cars.

I really think he meant to say TESLA RODESTER (did i spell that right) which is an electric car that uses Tesla's AC current,Edison also executed an
elephant and prisioners and called it morbidly i assume "Westinghousing" tesla's prize from Edison was supposed to be 50k not 25k that is always what
i've heard. Tesla would have won the prize for re-designing his generators and he did build the first (that i know of) hydroelectric plant which is
now in disrepair.
I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

I have heard that Tesla Roadsters is currently trying to build a car powered by supercapacitors. Such a vehicle would charge quickly. The graphene
production for such an enterprise could pose interesting chemical conundrums.
