Bisphenol A toxicity?


Anyone know anything about the toxicology of bisphenol A? Apparently it is being said it is todays version of the romans lead in water pipes. It is used in the manufacture of all sorts of plastic today.

I have heard that it is mildly estrogenic, and has been blamed on male fish turning hermaphrodite, and reduced fertility and small genitals in male animals and humans.
