vibrating separatory funnel technique
i didnt want to post about this until i tryed it, but i can say that i did and it works.....
time and time again i find myself tapping the glass to free stuck bubbles or shake the funnel in a positive way.
but adapting the concepts of pulsating jig gold recovery and ultrasonic crystal growth methods i wipped out a run of the mill back massager. I applyed
this to the top of the funnel and quite remarkably the layers went to their God given density zones.....
Do you struggle with stubbern emulsions? Are you fed up with layers that dont seperate like the reaserch articles promised. Then apply the vibrating
separatory funnel technique, you'll be glad you did....

Clever idea.
I usually use the long thin rod approach to stuck bubbles
but have spent plenty of time doing the tapping the
outside of the funnel method.
