Simple Chain Reactions vs HyperComplex Obessional Instigation

Funny how one thing leads to another.

Following on from DraconicAcid's suggestion to make 'the tetraammine complex' using my excess of CuSO4(aq) i found that i needed much more concentrated Ammonia than OTC flavours.

So, today i made some (about 50ml) ~30% ammonia solution using a suggestion from blogfast25 :)

Well, it smells like Ammonia.
The equation says it should be ammonia.
It makes home-made pH indicator paper* (wetted) go green in the vapour alone.
Hopefully it is ammonia (solution).

A strange side effect is that i now seem to have a 25kg sack of both the sulphate and the nitrate of ammonia, and no jam jar big enough to put them in.

I got into chemistry a few weeks back simply to make Nitric Acid to recover gold off circuit boards, and now i have a mission to make tetraammine complex, and loads of equipment on order to help make other stuff.

What happened ?
Is there an Antidote ?

* whizz up red cabbage, add boiling water, filter the solution, soak some filter paper with it, leave to dry overnight, then chop into strips.
3 weeks ago, and red cabbage was simply braised, then eaten.
