Solubility of 4th period metals in gallium and aluminum

Here's an interesting find:

http://iopscience.iop.org/1742-6596/98/6/062032/pdf/1742-659...

This paper may be useful for determining whether gallium can be used in conjunction with certain metals. It also includes zirconium and hafnium in the study. It also includes data on their solubilities in molten aluminum. I don't understand everything though.

I had a few grams of gallium before - I need to find it though. I want to determine the solubility of magnesium, aluminum, and terbium as well.

At the end of the day, simulating atoms doesn't beat working with the real things...
