It's an awesome series, I've just recently found out about it.
Von Hagens is a quirky character, but he's one hell of a teacher. I recommend it.

One more BIG thing.
He is the inventor of Plastination (wiki link) process.
Thumbs Up to this guy!

What I really like about the guy is his relentless fight against biggotry and his probing of democratic values. He was a political prisoner in Eastern
Germany for two years and he's aware of the dangers of society falling to sleep when it should be awake.
I was sad to learn that he has Parkinson's disease, but his decision to become one of the plastinates is just lovely. He's "the teacher" and he wishes
to remain being one even after his death. That's incredible.
His sometimes morbid humor combined with his black fedora and German accent when speaking English is kind of frightening because it reminds us of "mad
doctors", but I think he's doing all that to make an impact, to stir things up. It would be my pleasure and an honor to meet him. He seems like a kind
person.

Wizzard: you're welcome. I was happy to share this here.
Endimion17: You're right. Imagine to have a seat in the public when this series where filmed, amazing. I have many questions I'd like to ask him.
There is incredible amount of information given by him, something which is to hard to ask somebody in real life and get an answer.
