An Introduction of a New Member
Hello! I am new to this forum, but have been following it for close to five years now. I have always been interested in science and chemistry, and
have several experiments I intend to carry out, but I currently lack a laboratory in which to do chemistry. Also, I have done much research, but have
no practical knowledge whatsoever.
I'm in the US, and am working on various means of process improvements, and am leaning toward salt chemistry, and some organics. Specifically, I want
to also work on some new crown ether analogues, pyrocitrates, and violurate derivatives. Additionally, I have several ideas for mechanical designs and
inventions in general.
I have many questions that will likely be raised very soon, though I won't promise any syntheses or write-ups in the near future. I'm glad I finally
joined, and look forward to being a productive member of this forum.

Welcome to sciencemadness!
Always good to have members, who have done a lot of research, and sharing knowledge from that may help others in this community. Combining this with
practical experimenting sounds promising.
There have been quite a few experiments with violurates and all kinds of colors with different cations.

It is for this reason I became enamored by the compound. I've been working on ideas for new variations of the parent acid, as well as figuring out
ways to utilize more readily available compounds. The imino derivative of violuric acid, for example, has caught my eye, because it resembles the
pterin family of compounds.
