methane chlorides and silver nitrite

would chloromethane, chloroform and tetrachloroform react in THF or EtoEt to make their nitro analogues? with chloroethane it works to make nitroethane. i didnt mention DCM because its product is unstable.
dont flame me if its a stupid question im just an high school student
