I spilt propylene glycol into the heating mantle
What should I do from here? It’s in that fibrous material and with a boiling point of 190c it’s not going to evaporate at room temperature. Every
time I turn the heat on it shorts out and trips the switch. I have no idea what to do at this point.

RIP. If it is shorting every time you turn it on... play a little sad bugle song as a eulogy and put it ceremoniously in the trash.
Sure, a new one costs money, but getting electrocuted and/or burning your house down costs a lot more. Just get a new one and don't tell it that you
filled its predecessor full of oil.

You could try rinsing it with deionized water, then drying in an oven.

So without power connected to it the water won’t damage the electronics? And what temp with be safe to put the mantle in?

Deionized water is not as conductive as tap water. There should be no problem as long as there is no salt and the mantle is off the grid.
Could you please verify if there is any spill on the board? It seems so from the description but it would be good to know for sure. If so, it will
need some extra work. Also, if possible, could you take some pictures of both sides of the board?
