3-aminopropionitrile fumurate
Having difficulty acquiring. One supplier (LabPro) had a long winded explanation unlike other companies (ie: Sigma) who just say this has been
canceled suggesting if I found a commercial address their intermediate shipper (which was the hold up not them) would authorize delivery.
Any suggestions on generalized approved commercial shipping locations individuals can use to mitigate this, or, does anyone know where this compound
can be acquired?
Appreciate the help!

"3-Aminopropionitrile fumarate (2:1) is a lathyrogen which inhibits crosslinking of collagen." - MCE
Why the hell do you need such a terrifyingly described substance? No wonder your supplier doesn't want to ship it to a residential address; it's
unusual and suspicious for an individual to order such a thing.
Explain why you need it and I may be able to help you.

Propionitrile itself is exceedingly toxic just by itself, so no wonder this analogue might be hard to acquire. Oakwood supplies it but you’ll need a
company license for that too.
If you don’t mind just making it, a route from beta-alanine could be possible. Just form the amide with anhydrous NH3 or methanolic NH3, or
Mg(NO3)/Urea in a microwave. Then protect the amine, dehydrate the amide to a nitrile w/ Cyanuric Chloride/DMF, deprotect, and form the salt w/
fumaric acid which is very commercially available.

As above regarding toxicity - so be careful if you do get your hands on this chemical.
