European firework material supplier
Im looking for an European firework material supplier that sells 4" paper hemispheres for DIY ball shells.
They are normally avaliable at pyrogarage.pl but are currently out of stock and will not be avaliable until end of summer or maybe longer.
https://www.pyrogarage.pl/en/category/other/paper-shell-part...
Anyone know of any other suppliers of 4" paper hemispheres, preferably in Europe?

There used to be a guy in the UK. I'm not sure I remember his nickname correctly. I think it was Cooperman. Maybe there was a number at the end of his
name / nickname.
If you've done any business with Pyrofire (Cz republic) ask them. They mostly sell commercial products but since they used to sell e-matches, fuzes,
delays etc. I know they dont sell the paper shells themselves but they can certainly send you in the correct direction.

Thank you very much.
I see if i can order some hemispheres from Cooperman.
I have thoght about making my own paper hemisphere shells and maybe i try it if i can find some suitable balls with right dimensions that i can use as
molds.
That would be the perfect solution as firework supplies gets harder and harder to get (damn politicians banning everything fun and slightly
dangerous).
I could try using some purchased ball-shell hemispheres and make a mold from them filling it with plaster of paris and then use that ball to make my
own hemispheres.
I would guess using some dextrin glue and kraft paper or newspaper would make nice DIY paper hemispheres.
That would be nice if i can get it to work.

Seems like Cooperman´s webshop isnt working.
I added a bunch of items to the cart, proceeded to checkout but it tells me to make an account.
When trying to make an account i get an error making it impossible to proceed.
Tryed the "contakt us" form but it also get an Captcha error so i cant even contakt them to let them know the webshop isnt working :-(
Unfortunate, i really wanted to order some 4" hemispheres plus other things.

Have you tried a different browser? Sometimes these problems are browser-specific.
As for homemade paper shells it's not really that hard, IIRC Bill Ofca has an excellent guide in his "Techniques in Fire" series.

I have sent them a mail, hopefully i can place the order.
Making DIY paper hemispheres are probably not so hard, the worst part is finding a sphere of right dimensions to use as a form/mold.
And one must find one of each size for the different shell sizes.
I start with some purchased ones and then i might try make my own hemispheres.
If spheres are avaliable to buy i probably do that, but if they start to be hard to find for sale then DIY will be the solution.
