Hello

Hello guys.

Nice to see that there are so many people interested in practical chemistry.

Something about me. Software developer, always interested in the magic that happens between physics and biology - really low-level "molecular" programming.
Currently doing B.Sc in chemistry, want to try everything but focus on organic chemistry.

Hey there . Nice to have you! I'm returning to school for a B. Sc chem/biochem this summer. I'm pushing 50...deep in the nontradational student envelope.

I am seeking to level up my Chem skills. Corrections welcome! All mentorship in madness appreciated.

I am 34 but I'm not the oldest in my group.
Surprisingly (or not), "the older part" handles almost everything easier than younger ones. Maybe because we know exactly why we are doing that... :)

That's great to hear. I really hope there is a broader mix of ages than I'm expecting.

Hi outer_limits and welcome.
I also have the knack for chemistry and programming but the other way round. I am a ChemEng by education and programmer by interest (mostly Lispy languages). Amongst a lot of other things, including chemistry. Hang in there.
