dissolving cellulose in NaOH/Urea Aqueous Solution
after i watched NilRed's Cellulose in Schweizer's reagent (tetraamminediaquacopper dihydroxide, [Cu(NH3)4(H2O)2](OH)2 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schweizer%27s_reagent )i got googling.down in the rabbit hole i found that you can dissolve Cellulose in NaOH
(10g/100ml)/Urea (12g/100ml) under 5C .i did that, it was awesome.it is simple yet non toxic way of dissolving cellulose other than toxic copper or
very toxic CS2. hope you enjoy. be aware of basic solution follow proper safety guidelines.
