benzylcarbanion

I would like to ask this about benzylcarbanion i no this is a highly reactive intermediate generaly not isolated due to the fact that they are more likely to form a more stable molecule because of the unshared pair of electrons and this is well known in organometalic chemistry, does anyone no of anyone seperating this molecule or what other reactions this intermediate is formed.

Thanks azo
