Video: Dehydration of sugar by sulfuric acid
This is a very common experiment to demonstrate oxidizing and dehydrating properties of conc. sulfuric acid. hope this remind you memory in
collage.(Through I don't have this experiment done in my collage study.)

| As for staging, the label on the beaker is in front, which obscures the reactants.
The temperature reading is barely legible. You could keep a spot light pointed downward, not shining on the table surface itself, and bring the
thermometer under it to display the temperature.

Also in this video you are moving two times between the chemical reaction and the camera. In this video it is more disturbing than in the
volcano-video. This is something you definately should not do.
Chemically, you also should mention that the sulphuric acid not only acts as dehydrating agent, but also as oxidizer. The bubbling is due to the
oxidizing action, not because of boiling water. Gases like CO2 and SO2 escape from the black mass.

I liked that dehydration video. There are some distractions but it shows the reaction well.
Where is the BZ video?

The BZ rxn is in my favourite section, you can check in my channel.
BTW, I thought it was good to zoom it initially, but I will try avoid it from now on as scientist don't like video with shaking.
I also did mention conc. sulfuric acid as an oxidizer, but not about the gases that make it spoongy, simply because the time limit in the video don't
allow me to type too much things in it, but I will try to include as many as possible in my video, thanks BTW.
