The company that I work for has recently purchased an EDXRF bench-top unit for running quality checks on gold alloys and possibly for analyzing scrap
gold for payout.
Unfortunately the suppliers of the unit have not been very helpful to me in getting set up to use the machine. I believe that I require more
background knowledge in the principles of this type of spectroscopy to help me to understand how I can use it properly for the desired application. Is
anyone able to help me from any experience with these units or at least where I might get info on there usage.
