Staged/Stacked Peltier Cold Trap

What kind of cold traps do you use? Have you considered staging peltiers for the purpose of getting a larger dT in a secondary cold trap?

My Thermoelectric fits nicely in my Coleman 5640, but I haven't drilled holes in it for the water and electric lines yet. And I'd need some suitable fluid cooled separately to a suitable temperature.

I am less than impressed by the heat removal capacity of either one, even with good contact and flask insulation in the stirrer's case. It gets down there, but it sure takes a long time.

Peltier units are not very efficient, the more so the greater the temperature differential. There is design information that can help you determine what your TEC would need to look like, how much power it will draw, and how much heat you need to get rid of:
