This is the first time I've heard of it, I can't find much information regarding the properties or chemical structure. The thing about it is that it
precipitated immediately, amide hydrolysis usually takes time under reflux conditions (boiling to dryness with NaOH according to ChemPlayer on
YouTube) although I couldn't imagine that piperidine sulphate is very soluble in isopropyl alcohol. I don't have much piperine to experiment with but
I'll run some tests in the near future, see if the precipitate is soluble in water, the crystals that may form, and such.
