Acetate salts (Ca/Na preferrb) products - what is it used in and where to get it (5-25kg)

I'm trying to find acetate salts, preferably calcium but sodium would be alright. Looking for a safer weed killer and it seems that acetic acid is certified for use as this. Technical grade is fine.

Anyone know if either are used in "buik" applications like 5-25kg bags/buckets (like rock salt and such)? Any products that make use of either of these?

Sodium diacetate is used in salt and vinegar flavorings. I don't think bulk food suppliers mind selling to civilians. Google turns up a few people who ship lots.

"Calcium acetate is used as a food additive, as a stabilizer, buffer and sequestrant, mainly in candy products under the number E263.
Tofu is traditionally obtained by coagulating soy milk with calcium sulfate. Calcium acetate has been found to be a better alternative, since, being soluble, requires less skill and smaller amounts."

"Not only is this chemical commonly sold as a 'hot ice' substitute, it can be made from calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide and acetic acid. Avoid using calcium oxide (quicklime) as the neutralization reaction is too exothermic and the mixture may boil.

Calcium acetate can be easily produced by reaction of calcium hydroxide or carbonate with acetic acid."

Sodium acetate trihydrate is very easy to find. It is used as a flavoring and to make reusable hand warmers.

Calcium acetate is easy to make but also has some niche uses as a food additive.

Edit: Looks like CJ beat me to it.
