I went to my garage to get my used "damp rid" moisture remover to go ahead and purify some, when I found that my work had already been done for me. It
had already crystalized - must have been growing for weeks.
I was wondering if anyone knew if these are CaCl2 hexahydrate crystals? I would guess that they are the most hydrated crystal form. Just curious. They
were growing in the deliquescent solution that was previously completely liquified.

it Looks like the .6H2O as they appear to be hexagonal, the .2H2O is a tetragonal crystal.
I have no listing for the other forms, other than the CaCl2 itself and that`s Orthorhombic.
