PbO2 substrate - what material?

Hello SM.

I'm planning to setup my own lead dioxide anode station.
Now, of course I'll need to deposit the lead oxide onto a metal of some sort, and I'm torn as to what would yield the best results.

Currently it's a toss up between
1. Titanium mesh
2. Graphite rod

If you have a preference for one or the other, please write your arguments. And if you have a 3rd or 4th material, do share. :-)

Thanks a lot.

Given that this topic has been covered very thoroughly numerous times and even has its own extensive sticky, https://www.sciencemadness.org/whisper/viewthread.php?tid=24...
I am going to recommend you read up a little first.

Welcome to SM. Stick around and enjoy the wealth of information here. Just remember that it is not a live blog. The information posted over the years is just as good as (or probably better than) a hastily composed current post.
