Hello,
Has anyone on this forum ever tried performing the contact process at home?
I recently looked into it, and the hardest thing looks like obtaining vanadium pentoxide for the catalyst, which is 25 euro per kg on aliexpress, I do
not know how much you need but I think that should be enough for a small scale reactor.
I haven`t found anything regarding this reactor/process, does anyone have one and is willing to tell us about it? I find it a really interesting
subject and would love to see it done in a home-lab!
