I would expect a lot will depend upon the luck (or design) of the physical layout,
it is possible for consumer magnetrons to synchronise with each other https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn10356-invention-micro...
or they may run completely independently, or some stochastic combination of the two.
In any case there will be times when all generators are briefly in phase,
so
if there is not enough of the susceptor material to make the 'Q' of the caged space low enough
I would expect electrical arcing in/on/around the magnetron anodes.

Interesting, thank you for the patent [20060208672] link.
It looks like they are pretty much just using a waveguide. A chart with and without the waveguide looks pretty similar - but the frequencies are more
spread out. So I assume that wouldn't be much of an issue if my goal is to just heat up a susceptor. Correct?
Is there anything I could do to adjust the 'Q' of the caged space to prevent arcing in the event there isn't enough susceptor present?
