Does anyone know a method for producing cis and trans isomers of dichlorotetraamminecobalt(III) chloride?

I couldn't find anything on the synthesis but I found the following line in
"Katalyse in der organischen Chemie"
-> " Dichlorotetraamminecobalt(III)chloride, with Hydrochloric Acid the cis-Salt (Violeo) is converted into the trans- Salt
