Neoprene depolymerization?

Hello everybody!
Assume I need a halocarbon with one halogen atom, that is liquid in room temperature. Chloroprene seems to fulfil this requirements. I wonder, if I could try pyrolysis (depolymerization) of neoprene or whatever to obtain it.

Anaerobic depolymerisation by pyrolysis is likely to yield stinky mess of chlorinated cyclics and aromatics with very little actual chloroprene.
