Could someone here help me? I have situation where i attemp the akabori reaction based on Quantum Dom post. First when i adding sodium carbonate and
NaOH granules then i got brown oily layer on top of aqueous phase.

Can i just throw this oil onto acetone and titrate it? Or should i disolve it on dcm then distill the dcm first then i titrating it? I ever try with
methode disolve on dcm and wash with brine and distil the dcm . What left is viscous oil, and i add aceton on that oil then titrate until ph4 but i
didnt get anything leftt on acetone after titrating. Any sugestion for me ? Thank you and sory about bad language
