I was using separatory funnel with solvent and i was wondering if there was a way to accellerate the separation processus, cause it's taking age
and i hate waiting...any idea?

What are you trying to separate? I'm not sure I quite understand what exactly the problem is you're having.

What's slowing down the separation? I've never had troubles with separation taking forever in a separation funnel, it usually goes fast.

Yes, salt it out with simple table salt or better dishwasher regeneration salt whats much cleaner than what we eat.
But salting out does not work with density but more with a kind of taking up the free places together with emulsion breaking.
Anyway, works fine.
You should distill the lighter gas later as it probably contains emulsion building substances/oiles. These are often mixed to gasolines and else for
equipment protection.
