Out of all the pieces of laboratory glassware that you own, which is your favorite.

Mine would have to be my 1000mL separatory funnel.

You can also do your most frequently used piece. In my case it would be the same.

Finally bought a distillation setup a few months ago. After years of trying to do 'distillations' with shitty plastic tubing, even just looking at my Liebig condenser makes me feel happy haha

My two foot long Pyrex Graham condenser. The thing is barely used but it looks really nice!

My Wilmad Freidrichs condenser. This is my most used piece of equipment, not including beakers and such.

My separatory funnel, and i'm still longing to try out my rotavap and soxhlet-extractor. They've been sitting on a shelf for a long time and i've never found the time to use them.
Note: Soxhlet-extractions are completely new to me and I've only used a rotavap at school once, and since they are quite expensive and not really mine,(all my glassware and other equipment ar rightfully the school's property, but I am free to use them) i've not yet used them.

A Schott Duran 250 mL beaker. It's neither the largest nor the smallest, but it's just right for the great majority of my experiments. Yeah, it's nothing special, but it's dear to me.

a distillation adaptor arm was one thing i never could improvise before i ever even saw a distillation kit.i could come up with different vessels and recipient vessels but didnt know how to connect them.the science community just didnt understand this dilemma of mine,i thought.

My 50 ml three neck round bottom flask. It is great for most reactions. It is also great because I got it for free from a community college.

My friedrich condenser is my favorite condenser from aesthetics and utility.

My favorite piece of glass-ware are probably my 100mL round bottom flasks. I'm not sure why, but I just like the way they feel in my hand

I remarked in my lab journal that my 1L beaker was in continuous use and I wished I had bought more. The following day I broke it. Life wasn't the same.
The good news is that three replacements have arrived in the mail and are waiting for me as soon as I get back from my holiday.

It's the most easily replaced item; a 100 ml Pyrex beaker (part#1000) never really used as such. Many crystals have appeared in it over the years, as a stack of Coors dishes has mostly gathered dust.

. It's also had to endure some not-so-elegant DIY fixes on the water jacket intakes, which seem to be my worst enemies in terms of glassware breakage...

My favorite piece of glassware is my soxhlet extra tractor, even though sadly I don't often get the chance to use it. My second favorite, as well as my most used is my Buchner funnel and vacuum pump.

my Orsat gas analyier manily becuase its old and is in a nice wooden box, its juts an ornament now. (thanks sicence madness for iding it for me in 2007)

but as for usefullness a dr schilling burette is great time saving device if you have to alot of titrations.

My 1.8m long essay tube

A friend's dad works on a solar water heater production plant. These heaters use two long borosilicate tubes, one black inside other clean. So, it should resist some heat, remember water boils in here.

My retorts. Old fashioned glass retorts - you can distill all sorts of nasties in them - HNO3, Bromine etc.
