You may find many ways of preparation of almost every ether. However I haven't found anything about di-t-buthyl ether synthesis.I searched also in ACS
or Elseviere publications.
The only path I have found out was synthesis of di-t-buthyl peroxide (from t-buthanol) then treat it with 1 equivalent of triphenylphosphine (found in
old book about phosphorus compounds).
I don't know if this has any practical use, since I would be afraid to deal with peroxides ![:)](./images/smilies/smile.gif)
Does anyone know a better way?

Correct spelling makes a big difference:
di-t-BUTYL ether

Oh you are right, but I DID search "butyl".I wrote "buthyl" because I confuse it with methyl and ethyl. In my language there is no "h" in any case ![:P](./images/smilies/tongue.gif)
