Here a idea to cleaning Aspirin Tabletts.
Crush 50 500 mg Aspirin Tabletts with a motar to a fine powder.
Heat 1000 ml concentrated 97-99% ethanol in a beaker dissolve the powder in the ethanol, stirr a few minutes and than the mixture is filtered two
times with a very fine filter paper
and than the ethanol is careful boiled out,
stirred with a glass stirring-rot and the slick is stirred until the acetylsalicylic acid are dryed.
Heat the mixture that the acethylsalicylic acid not compose to much.
I don`t know the procedure are correct and what for impurties mixed into the tabletts ?
The acethylsalicylic acid should be useful to prepare picric acid [Picrates].
