This seemed like a nice thing to have. I liked the part about the tank and also how it reads out the elements.

I'd quite like one, but I suspect they wouldn't sell me one because I don't have the license for the X ray source.
Also, beware of the fact that they can't always tell a bit of wood covered in thick white paint from a titanium ingot.

I don't think a radiation source would be a problem, the price is probably huge.

Try 15,000-20,000 dollars. At least they were 4-5 years ago.

I was looking at some monel on ebay and happened to notice the second photo appears to be an XRF readout.
