This is simple and wicked cool.

Hydrophobic patches allow the self assembly, and audio sonication can break it apart. It then reassembles over a few days time.

Interesting. I'm not sure why you'd want to attach drugs to these protein scaffolds unless it were for synthesis, since proteins are fairly difficult to administer to the body (too large to absorb and often dangerously altering blood viscosity IV).
