I am working on creating dye sensitizers for DSSC and I am intrested in creating a complex with both acetylsalicylate groups and a nitrate group to
anchor it to a TiO2 substrate. So far, my only idea was to take zinc (II) nitrate and combine it with a acetylsalicylate solution. Folowing bfesser's
Copper(II) Aspirinate Synthesis. Would a synthesis like this be possible?
