Experimental Procedures

Hi guys, I am new to the forum but I thought that I would go ahead and post an experiment that I am working on for my chemistry class. My professor asked us to design an experiment and to preform it for our final. I chose to test orange juice for electrolyte ions and compare them to various sports drinks. I narrowed down the electrolytes to the biggest electrolytes found in the body (Calcium, Chloride, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Sodium). Does this sound like a decent experiment to y'all?

Could you please provide more details about the experiment you're going to conduct? How are you going to measure the concentrations of those ions? Wich methods will you use?
Also, it would be interesting to compare the quantity of sucrose, glucose, and other sugars between the drinks and orange juice.
