The Organic Chemistry Lab Survival Guide
by Zubrick, James W.
.....I live in a remote area and books are hard to find, as I'm grateful to the members that have contributed so much of their time to set up
the ftp's and manage this archives .
This particular book has been mentioned to me several times unfortunately because of lack of funds and not having access to a library with this text
that I make this request for the upload to the ftp site .....my thanks, solo

Does someone have one of the later eds? Mine is the second (1988), and I'm 300 pages into scanning a 900 page book right now. Does anyone know
what the differences are between mine and the 5th ed? I see that it is 294 pages while the 2nd is 322. BTW, check out the "Customers who bought
this item..." at
I have it scanned but not processed. I'm on it. Quality is quite good, but it's all colored yellow and I'm having trouble reducing
color depth to shrink the images without creating too many flaws. I think I'll just bundle the images (cropped) into an archive for now, upload
that, and then work on a PDF.
edit: Figured I should mention this: it's only the second edition so don't get your hopes too high.

I would like to know if anyone can upload this book....solo
This second, completely revised and expanded edition in two volumes comprehensively covers everything of importance related to C-C and C-N
cross-coupling reactions. Internationally renowned experts present the current level of knowledge, while critical analyses and experiment guidelines
allow users to quickly decide on strategies for solving their synthesis problems.Mephisto - 18-12-2004 at 10:30
I've just uploaded »Metal-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling Reactions« (by François Diederich and Peter J. Stang). I think it's
an earlier edition of that book, you want. I hope it helps nevertheless.
The path is: ../upload/Mephisto/Diederich, François and Stang, Peter J. - Metal-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling Reactions.djvualchemie - 19-12-2004 at 08:01

I'm baffeled! Just how do you download these files?
Thanks in advance,

Just PM axehandle for an account. Leeching is allowed IIRC, but everyone should upload a thing or two .S.C. Wack - 22-2-2005 at 10:17
Read the thread that I linked to above and you will understand FTP access, and why no one has it now anyways.
Download-wise, well, what is the problem exactly?

this reminds me. this summer i'm going to take an advanced organic chemistry/biochemistry class at harvard. the topics include current ideas of
bonding and structure, major reaction mechanisms and pathways, a discussion of the analytical tools used to determine the structure and
stereochemistry of organic compounds (such as infrared and NMR spectroscopy), and some of the chemistry of amino acids, peptides, carbohydrates, and
nucleic acids.
does anybody have suggestions for prep for this class? it's really difficult and i want to perform well.
eMule books req.

Cherrie have you tried using a different p2p client to get the files?
Shareaza is a good client has it uses gnutella1,gnutella2 and the edonkey protocol.Emule only uses the edonkey protocol.budullewraagh - 3-4-2005 at 15:38

Thanks for your information, Solo; but unfortunately it looks as if the Synthetika forum has a fault in its registration process, which results in its
not recognizing my ID after I try to log in after registering.
