Libraries and The Patriot Act

MadHatter - 16-10-2004 at 16:56

I just saw on FoxNews about a public library in the State Of Washington who is
refusing to turn over a list of people who had checked out a book on Osama Bin
Laden because some idiot wrote a pro-terrorist message in the book. Probably
some kewl jerking their chain. The FBI is insisting on that list as part of a "terror"
investigation. If there is any doubt on the reach of the Patriot, this should serve
as a wakeup call. What I or anyone else reads, speaks, or writes is none of the
government's business provided we're not inciting riots or advocating violent
overthrow of the government. What a bunch of fucking wankers !

Why is the FBI so sure that the person who wrote that pro-terrorist message in that book about Binnie was someone who borrowed the book from the library? It could just as easily have been someone who read the book in the library without borrowing it - and indeed this is more likely., as the library itself might be able to identify the graffitist and take its own action if he were a borrower.

Go to www.fbi.gov, then go to Search, and enter "chemicals". Or just have a look around. Feel welcome, this is the official site.:P

Pages

Don`t visiting pages by the NSA & the FBI.
They do rummaging your computers with special protocols and send informations back to the pentagon.

JohnWW - 13-11-2004 at 00:06

You can foil them by connecting to their websites through a proxy server, preferably an anonymous one, which could be located outside the U.S.A.. Details of free public proxy servers located in many countries can be found on the internet.

Spyes in your Computer

The_Gender_Changer - 30-12-2004 at 06:39

I think so HIPPIE,

do not visiting pages of the DEA,FBI and NSA.
They sniffing out your computer, and when the computer crash and you reboot
they reading out your documents and sending when you next dial in the the collectet informations over the dial-in adapter to a special IP-Adress to the FBI.
when visitting Pages use a firewall or a proxy !
The can red what i type !
