I recently synthesized TACN and I can't for the life of me get it to dry completely though I haven't used a desiccator so I should probably give that
a go. Moving along, if anyone has any tips on how to dry it and maximize its performance please tell me, and if I should use any oxidizer with it to
make it perform better tell me!

It is next to impossible. Try synthesising it in anhydrous methanol instead, and keeping it dry. And please UTFSE as it has been discussed a lot here.
