In determining the peroxide content of percarbonate-based bleaching powder through titration with sodium thiosulfate, I noticed that the rate of
addition of sodium thiosulfate is VERY important to ensure accurate results. Why is this? how can we know if this variable will be important for other
experiments and how can we account for it?
