Hi. does anyone know the actual definition of what texas or australia considers to be a condenser, hot plate, and flasks of different assortments? I know this would seem elementry but I am curious of the symantics of what a makeshift device would need to be considered illegal to own without a license

Just like many things in the judicial system, it is going to totally depend on the individuals and circumstances involved. There are few real reliable definitions. Hence the pervasive fear of litigation that stifles innovation and creativity, even in countries that rose to power because of those very qualities...

i posted an experience on this under a different topic, but as i said i got to keep my glassware, it was two heavy rbf's a condenser,and the adapters, keck clips. im always wondering if they will come back for them.cops that is.;)
