V2O5 instead of Rh in NOx emissions from cars

It must not be feasible (yet), but I don't see why. Not easily poisoned, fairly cheap, easily promoted, but unlike Rhodium, soluble in water.

I have heard of a finely milled tungsten carbide acting just like a Pt catalyst. I wonder, that must be one hell of a grinder.
