The last time I baught some SULPH & HCL acid from the local ironmungors, it wasn't the same colour and has been inhibited.
I looked up the inhibition processused, amino acids have been used.
Now this is stated as a protection against corrosion in the systems to be cleaned.
Is there a way to seperate/pureify the acid? ie distillation or by the addition of something to cause a precipitate of the added inhibitors.
Or will it have no detrimental affect on reactions? any info greatfully recieved. MM
