Kjehdahl bulb

I recently ordered a distillation apparatus of the following:
-1 Kjehldahl bulb with corks
-1 Liebig condenser

For the bulb to fit the right way to my flask, I have to switch the cork sizes around (and even then the second cork doesn't fit the condenser). However, that first cork is absolutely stuck onto the glass tube. I want to loosen it to be able to pull it off without destroying the glass. Any ideas?

You should just cut the cork off and replace with rubber stoppers. Use a razor blade held parallel to the glass and cut...

No, the problem is that the cork that is stuck exactly fits the flask for the distillation apparatus, only it's on the wrong side. (It does matter which way that little tube faces, right?)
The other cork that is too small for the condenser I can remove just fine.

Never mind, it came off! :D
