So I got my latest shipment from my supplier.
Ordered the largest ceramic centered wire gauze mats they have to replace my old one that's kind of crumbly. 150mm.
But the ceramic diameter is only 90mm... the old one I got from them a while back is 110mm. Whats more is these new ones have a rough surface texture.
I run my thumb over the surface, and my thumb is coated in fine white powder... very structurally sound...
The old one had a smooth surface.
Is there simple/easy way I can cast any kind of suitable material to get the large pad I need?
