mixing phosphorus pentoxide with celite

I have seen some articles that say that phosphorus pentoxide can be mixed with celite to produce a drying agent that is similar to Merck's "sicapent" which doesn't form a crust after absorbing water.

Anyone tried this? Would just mixing the materials well cause them to adhere?

Phosphate content in fertilizers is always indicated as P2O5, but obviously it doesn't contain any.
