The California guy whose house was filled with explosives got thirty years. However they were for two armed bank robberies. They found the evidence
for the bank robberies while searching his house after the explosives were initially found. As I recall it all started because a gardener got injured
when a booby trap caught him.

The take?
1. Don't rob banks.
2. Don't booby trap public spaces?
On the plus side; no authorities seemed to have a clue that he had any explosives. And much more strangely to me, do to the possession of one; his
wife obviously didn't object. And all of this in The People's Republik of Kalifornia!
