I have two old Mel-Temp melting point devices. These were from university surplus and they were slightly broken, but I repaired them and now they both
work. I'm asking $60 each for them, and I'm willing to ship internationally.
A couple caveats:
They require the use of an external glass thermometer or temperature probe. A thermometer is not included, but any standard size glass thermometer
will do, or you could use an instant read digital temperature probe. They are missing the built-in magnifying lenses that assist in viewing the
capillary tubes, but if your eyesight is good you should be able to do without, or you can just use an external magnifying glass.
If you purchase one, I'll also include a free piece of glassware of your choice from my $5 bargain bin, if desired: https://www.sciencemadness.org/whisper/viewthread.php?tid=16...

Is posting/shipping within the continental US included in the $60?

No, shipping is not included. It would likely be about $15 within the US, because they each weigh about 4 pounds. I could also ship it with other
items in a medium flat rate box for $18.
